Invictus Brewing Co. is proud to announce Bradley Zimmerman as our Head Brewer. Bradley is originally from Indianapolis, IN and attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN where he found his love for homebrewing. After college, he decided that grad school could wait and decided to move to Seattle to brew beer professionally. In 2006, he got a job as a brewer at Elysian Brewing Co. brewing alongside industry legends Dick Cantwell and Kevin Forhan. Brewing at Elysian opened his eyes to what beer could be. He focused on recipe development and brewing with non-traditional ingredients. In 2009, Bradley was hired as Assistant Brewer at Big Time Brewery, Seattle’s oldest brewpub. After a decade’s experience in Seattle, Bradley decided to return home to Indianapolis in 2013 and was the founding Head Brewer at Tow Yard Brewing Co. Bradley was then recruited by Bent Rail Brewery in Broad Ripple to become their founding Head Brewer in 2015. In 2017 Big Time Brewery was looking to revitalize their brand and asked if he would return as Head Brewer, where he’s been for the past year. A true love of the Midwest and Minnesota’s growing craft beer scene leads Bradley to Minneapolis and he is so excited to be the Head Brewer at Invictus Brewing Co.
We couldn’t be more excited to have landed such a great brewer and great guy. We’re looking forward to utilizing his experience, expertise and creativity to bring great craft beer to Blaine for the first time.
